Now decommissioned, the towers of the Poolbeg generating station are one of Dublin’s most famous landmarks. The Poolbeg chimneys, which were built in 1971 are among the tallest structures in Ireland and are visible from most of Dublin city.

The backing of the print is 3 mm thick aluminium dibond, which consists of two thin, platinum-white sheets of aluminium sandwiched around a black polyethylene core. The three-layered construction gives this light material long-lasting stability and prevents light from shining through.
